Finally bought my dream car, well one of them.
Been wanting this ever since Dad got his back in 87.
Sold the Z last year and got a very nice Cayman S. Just not enough room on the inside of the Cayman so I decided to sell and try to find a 911. Loved the Cayman but this car is leaps and bounds above it. I never thought I would be able to afford the S but I found a great deal on a perfectly taken care of two owner car. Previous owner was also a Z owner and a genuine car nut so the car was very well cared for.
2006 911 Carrera S - 29k miles - sport seats - OZ Ultraleggera 19x8.5 & 11 - Porsche short shifter - Porsche sport exhaust

Painted seat backs is a nice touch too.

I tried to figure that out in my Cayman for about a year. The 2008 Z I had put it's power down quicker off the line than the Cayman, 305 hp to 295. But once the cayman got rolling and was in the upper rev range it was lightning quick. The 911 is just plain fast. With 355 hp and 295 tq it's super quick off the line. First gear is gone in no time and it just pulls very hard in every gear. The Z was always good on the interstate, no real need to change gear to pass, the Cayman just didn't have the torque to run in a higher gear so I would find myself running faster all the time in it because I was keeping the revs high. Of course the 911 is effortless when driving around at slow speeds in a higher gear.
