I tuned to HFS this morning and its all this Spanish music. Been playing this all day long, no commercials. Is this a joke or prank?

 

they switched over to Latin music a couple days ago. Apparently they were one of the lowest ranked stations in the area... and latin music is the fastest growing genre. Sucks for us radio listeners though...

 

I dont listen to HFS regularly but I go to it sometimes during commercials on 98 rock. 98 rock is the best in the area I think.

 

I just miss the junkies in the morning...screw the rest of the day. Can you say hola amigos, es la fiesta a 99.1!!!

Actually, there are very few stations in the area that actually play some damn music during the morning commute. The sports junkies were on 99.1, Elliot the @$$ is always stinkin' up DC101, Z104 is getting better in their programming, and 92.5 is probably only reachable by us NoVA folks.

It was funny, when they switched, it was completely without notice. The sports junkies went off, and *POOF*, the spanish programming started. It's really time to get XM or Sirius.

I was wondering the same thing. I listen to the Junkies every morning and BAM they are gone. They are actually back on WJFK after Howard now.

 

Actually "El Sol" 99.1 isnt that bad!! Even though im gonna miss 99.1, its still within my music interest territory. Oh and i thought I heard that howard wasn't going to be on 106.7 anymore. I think he's done as soon as his contract ends which i think is coming up soon if it hasnt already.

 

Yeah, Howard goes to Sirius early next year when his current contract expires.

Hopefully then, the Junkies will move into Howard's current timeslot. That way I have something good to listen to during the commute in the morning. Elliot in the Morning freaking sucks!!!
