well to much booze and now I have a broken hand and need a pin put in it;

been there...done that. had some booze, and broke my wrist. now ive got 3 bars, a bunch of pins, and some bone that wasn't originally mine.

dont worry man, ive broken my hand a few years back, now, i dont even remember which hand it was!!! healed great!

a fracture does not mean he needs any kind of surgery....beside there are tons of GOOD orthopedic surgeons up in VA.....if you need any send me a msg.

What the hell are you implying? If you read his first post he said he "needs a pin in it" No way to do that unless you do surgery.

thats what the doc sat night told me I just hope he is wrong I find out today when I call the surgeon

If you are talking about the ER doc, odds are he won't know if you need surgery or not. Wait until you talk to the orthopedic surgeon.
