Default Plenum Polishing - Who, How long and How much

My plenum is just starting to look dingy. I want to get it polished to match the Turbonetics kit. Anyone know where I can get this done around here and how much it'll cost?

Kelley -- It is hard as hell finding someone to do that. One way is to call around to local machine shops or motorcycle shops.

I found one guy that was willing to do mines but he had health issues so I was forced to do it myself. He quoted me ~ $100 if I remember correctly. It might be easier (but cost more) to buy one online. Plus I think the ones u buy on line will not oxid..ate... ize (sp?) as quickly. Mines started turning almost immediately.

Hey guys...

I emailed Kelly and contacted the place that I got my plenum polished at. They are willing to do other plenums. The pics that DavidV posted are of the plenum that will be going on my car.

Email me if you have any other questions on pricing etc.

Dave -- I think it is $335 just for the plenum. If you don't send your core it will be $535. I called about this a while back. I thought it was too much as well.

Maybe we can convince Darren at Intense to hook us up with a group price.

I will try and give him a call.

How many people are interested? I think we may need something like 10-20 to get a deal.

I spoke with Pat also, and if we can get an idea of numbers of folks interested in this, he'll approach the shop that did his about a group buy, so that may be another option we have.
