Bert: no talking about snapped axles please... I see that and pictures of a wall getting WAYYYY too close in my nightmares ... I have no desire to see any of that in reality

Agree, but smacking a wall at 100MPH, even if it is only a glancing blow…. Is NOT my idea of fun… But any landing you can walk away from is a good one in my book.

Bam if you hit a wall over 100mph, its because a tire blew or you didnt let off and are still spinning or caught a NASTY groove in the track(happens on slicks not really DR's)-all these things are very rare. If you snap an axle its within the first 20ft, you'll launch hear nice sounds and then sit in your car owned from the fact that you cant move forward....no worries from you man, especially with the Axles you have!!

All right, I won't worry about the wall so much anymore...
Now I will worry about getting owned and having to live down the VIDEO I am sure would be shot of me just sitting there with that WTF just happened look on my face

I REALLY hope these axles are all they are cracked up to be...

Damn, just realized you had Stage 5's not 2. If I was you Id launch my car like I was trying to rape the axles, stage 5's should be no problem man...edit just also realized you dont have slicks-your tires are party poopers.

Hey man if you get close to 12.9 which I think you will, I just might have to let you borrow the slicks and go 12's-show up all these non drivers in Stillen set ups running low 13's.

LMAO-they talk down bolt-ons soooo much and cant even match my bolt-on times Then they cry when the Turbo guys talk them down...

Yep, I have the Level 5's so can drop the hammer pretty good now... wheel hop is my biggest fear at the moment. (Too much audio to damage in the trunk now)

As for tires.... I have my solution already waiting for me... Nitto 18 x 305 DR's, just a question of putting them on when the time is right... But I will not be going with slicks... Maybe latter after I have gotten the best times I can get out of these Nitto’s

500whp and DR's is gonna be a handful, I think it will help you tremendously, but not enough to hit sub 1.8 60ft's and run mid 11's...but I hope you prove me wrong. Can we start predictions? I think it will be fun...

Well last run I had in March on street tires and stock axle/diff I got a couple of runs of around

2.217 60ft / 12.8 @ 115mph

You think switching from 19 x 275 Toyo R1's --> 18 x 305 Nitto DR's and some instruction by you will only net me a trap improvement of .5 seconds and 3mph..? I hope I can get better then that

Matter of fact, if I don’t get close to high 11’s and 120mph I am gonna be pretty pissed.

Was the 12.8 @ 115 ran with 502whp? I dont think it was...how much whp at that time I forgot I think you ran that with less power..

That was March 11th right before I left to take it down to FL. I know that was on my highest boost setting (with race fuel of course) and I am pretty sure that was after the AAM BBQ which was when I last dyno'd at the 502 uncorrected/490 SAE corrected.

I will be having Mike revisit my tune because it is SOO super rich, so expect some additional HP but not that much by the time we hit the track. Oh, and I will have the sprayer hooked up by then too to keep the intake temps down... The more I think about it, the more I figure I will either be in the 11’s or have a blown motor by the end of that day….

.3 in 60ft is .4-.6 down 1/4 so saying that and changing your shift points I remember you shift late Im gonna stick with my prediction...sorry man not putting you down just my newb prediction.

Nah, 11.7X @ 116 for me. if you can hook a 1.8 60ft Ill say your guess is correct @ 105/106mph...As long as I run a low 11.8 Ill be happy
