Yeah ^^^^^^^^^ Sorry guys, but after 1 year and half of just having to go here and do that and blah blah blah I decided to let her go. Definately not worth the headache, I made an effort but it seemed that even with the new engine that the problem would persist. So rather then going through all of that crap AGAIN I decided to just get rid of my car and drive something normal for a change. Best of luck to you guys, be ready for more crap after engine install. I can only suggest lookin to another car if the situation doesnt improve.

lol should have driven it off a cliff but I traded it in for a Nissan Rogue. People were like WTF you went from a Z to a Rogue!???????? I am enjoying about 400 something miles per tank, still have the 08 Altima coupe SE :P
So letting go of the Z wasnt THAT hard.

Well, I'm gonna see what happens with this engine swap. If I still have problems, it's gone as well.

GL man, suggest parting out before you even take it for a trade. I traded mine in while i was at the dealer, should have taken mods off and sold them but wasnt really up for it at the time.

Yeah, I've already taken all of my aftermarket stuff out. Well, off of the engine anyway. Just gotta take the nav, and backup camera out, then it'll be all stock again. The dealership said they won't do the engine swap, unless I remove all of my mods anyway.

Wow how G@y of them, I got 0 crap from the dealership I was at.
You should ask the Service Manager how much they stand to make
on the engine swap, then say you will look for another dealer to work with.
I am sure he will be singing a different tune REAL FAST

Just dropped the Z off this morning. Enterprise gave me an 07 Murano run around in, for the time being. It's not the same, but I actually like it.

Ok, so I got the Z back on Friday. I'm currently making arrangements with another dealership, to have the oil consumption test done again, so I can see if the swap made a difference.

Anyway, they forgot to plug in my backup lights, so I almost got hit backing up. And now my transmission is acting up. Can't a guy catch a break!!

it's a shame that they don't find the root cause and fix it. if they know the root cause and are just trying to be cheap...bastards

BC it's cheaper to replace the motor then to fix them, I believe it has to do with the rings on the block. Instead of machining every block they just mass produce new blocks which suck also
