It's pretty retarded but they take the dealers findings over yours anyday. Try another dealer, at next oil change have them document the oil level, and speak with the service manager before all of that goes down. I initially was taking my car to Sheehy Nissan of Manassas and they are nothing more then idiots "oh your car is fine" riiiiiiiiiiiiight. I now have valid evidence that the car is consuming oil all thanks to Victory Nissan. I can not stress how important it is that you get with the Service Manager and explain to him what the deal is, and again when they measure your oil make sure they document it in MM not %, if they are gauging by % then they are RETARDS!
GL man

Good Luck
Good Luck
Do that, I am sure you will get better results elsewhere. Some dealers don't even know bout the TSB.

Update
Ok, so the Regional Specialist called me again. We talked it out, and I told him all of my concerns. He said that he's not a technician, and has no technical knowledge as to how much loss is acceptable, and how much is not.
He did say that the block is sand casted, and the heat can cause the sand to melt, creating pores in the block, which could absorb oil...![Confused](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif)
He also said that I have plenty of time remaining on my warranty, so I should just monitor my oil levels, and if it worsens, to go back to the dealership. I said that that isn't good enough, and I am going to a different dealership, to have the test done again...
He said that's a good idea, and I should request a "sealed oil consumption test". Basically he said this test involves adding a dye to the oil to look for leaks or buildup.
So I'm going to go to a different dealership and have the test done again. He also gave me his direct number, and said if I had any issues, to call him directly.

Well good luck dude, trust me many of us whom have this problem have been to one or more dealers, it all depends on the way managment at the dealership handles you because he will stay on top of his techs

I was contacted finally by the Better Business Bureau yesterday and my case was officially opened, I also got a pamphlet instucting me on what to do should this go to arbitration. I was also informed that Nissan may just offer a settlement option, for my sake I hope they keep it simple

UPDATE
Alright guys, if any of you have been following this you know that it's been a PIA process but less then a week after submitting all of my paperwork to the better business bureau auto line, I got a phone call on Thursday evening which I just now returned *Doh, it was my case agent informing me that Nissan has made me an offer. What the offer is I do not know but I will let you guys know.

Ok peepz so for those of you whom are keeping up with this I finally got an answer from Nissan via the BBB Auto Line, Nissan has agreed to replace my engine after god knows how many stupid OC test's. I am supposed to schedule an appointment with Nissan when they contact me in approx. 2 weeks, I will update you guys at that time.
