What A day!
Gosh… Man, today I was happy as hell. Yesterday I got my front lip in, the APR fully functional one I was telling yall about. Well I finally got it on this afternoon, awww it looked so sweet. I sat back for about a half hour just cheezin, happy at my work. So I decide to go take the car for a spin to show off my new toy. As I go down the ramp to get on 95 north I just mash out! You can actually feel the difference in the handling. All was good until I hit about 80 MPH… See what I didn’t think about was the amount of pressure that thing makes, and how I had cut out my grill. Pressure + No support = No lower bumper. Next thing I know, all I hear is this awful noise; it sounded like my $400 lip just grinding on the road and flapping in the wind. When I pull over I find out that the force from the wind just pushed down so hard on the lip that it was grinding on the road. The lip actually survived the on slant of the road and lives to see another day!
