Default Fast Intentions intimidator/ AAM plenum spacer

I have two seperate questions that need some feed back from the experiences of the Z community. First, does anyone here run the intimidator exhaust with non-res test pipes, how does it sound, any rasp? Second question, does any one here use or has used the AAM plenum spacer, any problems? Any feed back would be much appreciated.

"FI" exhaust is probably pretty heavy with all three of those magnaflow mufflers it has. AAM plenum spacer is not Iso thermal (it's billet aluminum)

not that it affects the point you're making, but only one of the many mufflers are magnaflow...the other two are sebring.

so basicly "FI" is a mix and match backyard special as I have always presumed. Good info.

What exhaust do you run?

I have installed the following:

*Fast Intentions TD
*Injen TD
*Nismo
*APS TD
*SFR TD
*JIC Titanium 3" Single
*AAM 3" Single

Out of all the systems, the Fast Intentions fit the best, and had the nicest gaskets and hardware Ive seen. Your comment is only spoken from lack of experience, you couldnt be more wrong. Many companies use different brand resonators and mufflers. Vibrant mufflers are nice, AAM uses $80 mufflers on a $1000+ system you'd be surprised if you really knew the costs of the mufflers vs the prices of the systems. Also, not sure if you know but most TD exhaust systems are lighter than the stock heavy OEM exhaust. My Injen TD was much lighter than factory, and I wouldnt be susprised if the FI is also. The only system heavier than stock that I know if is the Stillen TD, and we all know Stillen sucks.

No one listens unless you have 500+ so whats the point? I'm not really here to share knowledge or press products, I don't work for a vendor or sponsor. My AAM may be made with Vibrant parts but it's lighter than stock or FI and as far as I'm concearned (and alot of others) it sounds the best.

alot of posts is 17,000+

You must be insecure, you always like to bring up my post count and whp, whos talking about me? You made a comment at the FI system like it was junk when you run a crooked AAM single (dont get me started on their dual systems) that sounds like an elephant queef. I then stated my experiences with SEVERAL systems and facts regarding the weights of other systems. You can choose to believe it or not, but the truth is out there. If your happy with the AAM system good, but dont call a much better system (fitment, quality and no fart pipe sound) junk

I dont work for a vendor or sponsor either, again you went into left field with that comment. You get upset when I post the truth, usually because you post false info, like your dyno numbers but that is neither her nor there. BTW-if your not on the forums to learn/share knowledge why are you here?

<----can also make personal comments if thats what you want to do for no apparent reason.
