It will take a lot of dedication and planning and participation. Ill be willing to go to some of the meets n bbq but you have to diversify it . Not just in one part of the dmv. Dave at ft hosted the very first meet. And I think it was the very last meet. Now don't get crew and club mixxed up like some are in ngc vs me heh

This thread was proof of how hard we fail at organization in the mid a....with the exception of dave... he does not fail... except for when he feeds me pho and tries to kill me... that was a fail.

I would have to say that alot of the OG's that started this dont even come to this site anymore. Everyone pretty much runs with the same circle of folks.
I thought at one point I wanted to join up the the National Z Club but bottom line is the members dont show up to meets, dont support the sponsors, and it was total fail.
Guess thats why i drive a Z but I rep NGC.

This is why NZC fails: (disclaimer: this is from observation and not actually what I think)
1. No one plans events, nor would people show unless a shop plans it like Dave. But in reality, it shouldn't be a shop who plans this in the first place... the community must plan it. The person who initially stepped up is now banned.
2. Members don't know one another like how NGC does solely because Z owners tend to change out a lot. You don't see many owning a Z for more than 3 years. The 3rd generation of Z owners is amongst us. With each generation, the members get younger and younger. When groups hang out with different types of cars/different age groups, it's not the same.
3. The OG's are almost all extinct and have moved on to other cars or other hobbies. Some still hangout with one another, but most don't hang out with the new Z members nor do they attend any meets.
4. The majority of G owners are older than Z owners. Many bought that car for supposedly the "higher-class" and 4 seats... which is much more practical when you buy a house/start a family therefore the intent of keeping it for years is at a higher percentage rate than Z's. When you keep a car longer, it still gives you incentive to go to a meet.
5. NGC is not just a car club, it's a community of friends whereas NGZ is a community of strangers.
6. We have Mid-A, we don't need NGZ.
If someone wants to start this back up, you have to plan a meet and get people to come. That is the key! It's discouraging to come to a meet and see only like 4-5 cars. Z community is very disorganized.
