DONT buy a TomTOm.. based purely on the crappiness of their advertising.

I use to have a Garmin Nuvi 660 and it was the best unit I have ever had! (Until it got stollen)
I have used a lot of different units and Garmin always seem the best to me!

I've currently got a Garmin 660 which I love. I'm actually getting ready to sell it since I bought a Kenwood HU with Garmin nav. PM me if you're interested.

i cant rember which one my gf has but i she does not like it...i think because it never knows where she is, she never keeps it pulgued in, and keeps it in her center console ( i think thats why it cant find where we are). but! my friends TOMTOM ( dont worry about there ad's) was the only thing that could navagate us threw the mountins of WV when we went skiing :-)

Yeah. They don't seem to like used stuff.
Word of warning to all. Don't try to give a former fiancee's engagement ring to a new GF! Baaad idea.
