Thanks davidv for orginizing another great drive! I had a blast and had no idea that people were kicked out. I did wonder where all of the other Zs and Gs went as the day went on. It was great to meet other forum members and to see their cars.
There are two subbie drivers here. Abui (who I do not know you could call driver....) and me!!!
If we don't fit is because everybody else is jealous!!!
Chen, WTF... who rear ended you? That's not cool. I saw some guys go way past the speed limit today... I'm talking like 80-90mph around blind turns trying to pass a slower moving vehicle. Fun is fun and all and it'd be perfectly cool if this wasn't a mini-van/bicyclist invested road, you won't see them until you're ready to nail em'. I advise you guys who pass on blind turns to please pass safely on a straight next time. We don't want to give park authority a bad image of us.
Anyhow, today was wonderful thanks to the head criminal's planning, LOL. Thanks for speaking up for all of us, I hope you don't get a citation for today's events.
On another note, when park police come: RUN (street rules apply) and NO ONE knows one another... Period. They can't prove you're doing anything if you don't admit to anything. Plus, they don't have 75 squad cars to pull all of us over... especially if we're going the speed limit and tell them we're here on our own business. If a squad car pulls into one of the rest stops, everyone simply roll out.
PS. I was in the Silver Subaru 2.5 RS w/ the riced out CF hood.

When i first got there everyone was doing 50-75+mph up the mountain.
Our group was rolling at 20-35 MPH. Gzilla was leading that group. Didn't understand why we were doing 20 when there was no traffic in front of us or pedestrians. Doesn't matter though. Casey and I enjoyed the scenery and weather.
