Default Front Splitter Dilemma

Anyone know if you can fabricate a front splitter to fit one body kit over another? I just emailed Stillen and they told me none of there splitters would work with the new kit I just purchased:

[And apparently E10 has some serious connections and body kit hook ups]

Dear Clay,

Thank you for your inquiry!
We do not offer a front splitter for the Nismo fascia.
Not sure what will work better or what kind of modifications you would need to do.

Best Regards,
Margaret Lo

If you are looking for a carbon splitter then I would contact APR. They can make anything you want with the dimensions. Some on here have gotten one made for their Do Luck kits.

Yea Clay just buy the APR one made for the 350z. As long as the width is the same as your front bumper, you can have any body shop customize it to trace the shape of your front bumper. I actually thought about doing it to my Sarona bumper to fix the "flappiness". I just never got around to it yet...

Cool! This is a lot better than buying a whole new front bumper, I'm getting cold feet about using that Spec N2. But this might just make it look a little better.

Definitely look into that. I need to as well. My bumper is so flappy since there isn't enough support from the bottom. I've been meaning to put like beams across, etc but there isn't anything to mount the beams to. With a wind splitter what shops can do is actually glue it to the bottom of your bumper. It's permanent but it'll look gooood. I HATE loose body parts.

This splitter sticks WAAAAY out like a sore thumb, I'm talking about 4 inches out and it looks horrible on a stock bumper. I'm not sure what it'll look like on a nismo bumper though, could look good but i would definitely look around at pictures before purchasing the APR one. Getting a custom APR would be the best idea, but I'm not sure how cost effective that is. I imagine it getting pretty pricey

I think it's a piece of cake for any body shop to custom cut that APR windsplitter to trace the NISMO bumper. Even Dave Shiroma said he can do it.

Why have a body shop cut it? You can send them the dimension that you want and receive it already cut. You can also save the design and they can replicate it like they did for the Do Luck if other people like the way it looks. You can make it look anyway you want. You are going to have to drill into the bumper to install the stability bars to keep the diffuser from bending during high speeds though.

I'd imagine a body shop would charge less than APR?

Well I am sure that APR could shape the bottom of the diffuser to fit the bumper he has without gluing it. I would NEVER glue a body panel like that to the car. You need bolts to secure something like that since it will be in the front of the car taking all of the downforce.
