Default Anyone ever clean their fuel injectors?

Well as some of you know i'm having this issue with my engine pinging right when i hit the gas. Could be just bad fuel but I have since then filled up elsewhere and used a octane booster. The slight pinging is still there and now I'm starting to explore my options.

Right now I plan on changing out my spark plugs (maybe one step colder), inspecting/cleaning the fuel injectors and cleaning off my MAF. I began looking over the procedure for removing the fuel injectors in the factory repair manual and it looks overwhelming. has anyone ever took off their injectors just to clean them or should I just avoid that all together?

Octane booster does not do anything. It can actually help cause the injectors to clogg. I would run some seafoam through a vaccume line, change plugs, pour some seafoam in the gas tank and motor as well.

if you have a cold air intake check the intake pipes may be pinging off the body somewhere.

pre-ignition ping could be caused by using low octane fuel, make sure you are using 91 or 93 whatever is available in your area, Change your spark plugs, check for vacume leaks, and since our 350z,s don't have fuel filters, check the fuel pump screen to see if anything is caught in your tank. You would probably throw a code if an injector was bad so i wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. Start with the simple things first, I wouldn't drive the car either. You'll ruin engine components. I've done it before with another car.
