Barnabas, you want to sign up for SSM (Super Street Mod). Best guess is the turn out will be VERY light....Naitonals encompass the same weekend.

I can't believe how low the turn out for Hershey is on Saturday. I am beginning to wonder if they will cancel the event due to low turn out. Only 25 entries. That isn't really enough to hold an event. It's a shame because the venue rocks. If the event is canceled....I may head down to BMW at Waldorf. There is already 100 entries for the CDC Bowie event, but I hate Bowie.

 

may be a mute point with the weather we are expected to receive. heavy rain is prob gonna start early on saturday

 

It doesn't look like the rain will start until late afternoon/evening in Hershey. Street Prepared runs 1st anyway. If it is raining I won't be going.

 

where is the order of runs?

 

Barnabas...switch your class from SSM to XP. SSM runs last. If you switch to XP you run first work second. We could probably be packed up and headed back south by 1pm.

 

Julian Garfield(runs junior karts with SCCA) is taking to cars with fenders..........oh yeah......he is 13. This is the kid that Fastie's son races against. He is the current National Champion in FJA.

I see 32. It will probably be 50ish cars. Hopefully that will result in a few more runs on a nice, fast course.

For Hershey it says chance of showers in the afternoon....I think we look good.

 

When you get to the front gate, Barnabas, stay in the right lane and stay to the right until you get to the little toll booth things. There shouldn't be anyone inside, but stop, make sure, and then progress on (staying to the right). You will see the lot at this point, etc, but you need to cycle around until you see an opening to the lot. You can call me if you get lost. It is a real pain in the ***. I'd plan to be there no later than 8am.

 

Stayed dry for us. Very simple, but somewhat fast course. Video incoming.

Registration is open for CDC Woodbridge on the 10th...

Also, Cumberland on the 17th and 18th and Autocrossers Inc on the 18th are open for registration.
