LOL, that sums up much of the import scene, especially the younger gen who rarely run their cars and never actually learn to drive. Its all forum "will do's," dyno numbers and stereo power lol!
edit-I know a dude with a LEGIT h/c Vette, he runs at well known spots and buys into that entire "3 car length and the hit" crap, I'd never want to run somebody with a handicap, then if I won, Id still feel like I lost. Fawking young/inexperienced guys who claim to drive well but "cant hookup at the track" GHEY!!

I remember I was at this one parking lot meet a few years back and one of our guys had a z06 with a 150 shot. Some Civic boys walked over to us and was like, "dat yo vette? wanna run for some money?" And of course, one thing leads to another and they bust out the usual, "well my boy here wanna run you..." Few minutes later after they find out this wasn't "no ordinary vette" the conversation ends with, "oh he just told me his charge pipe just came loose ...so you wanna run next weekend? He'll rape dat vette yo..."

Why does everyone have to talk crap for their boys?
That is one of the things that upsets me most from the scene. Usually the guys with quick cars dont care to waste gas on other cars and start $hit.
