As some of you might remember, several of us tried to get together for a group Karting event out at summit point last fall. It fell through day of because we couldnt get ahold of the group organizer which held the key to the discount.

Well, time has paid off. Groupon (awesome company) has a coupon deal today for a 1 year membership, a Summit Point Karting T-shirt, and FOUR races for only $35. This is normally $109!!!

You can register only one membership per person (ie, cant buy three for yourself), BUT you can buy for friends. The membership allows you to buy reduced rate races for up to a year after activiation. You do NOT have use all races in one trip if thats your wish. Also, you have until August 2011 to even activate the membership...and THEN its good for another year after that. This is such a great deal. Membership alone is normally $40, and then $25 a race after that w/o a membership.


In anycase, I wanted to get this ball rolling first on the deal for all of you, and then we can later decide the date to do the race together for those that are interested.

Are the 4 races like the GP one? (or however they call the one that has practice, classification and actual race). Or just an 11 lap race?

 

EACH session is 11 minutes which is equal to approximately 16-30 laps on the Washington Circuit.

Yea, same here. And we can still get more peeps to come. A membership isn't "required" to race. It's a ton of fun and still not a horrible deal at $25 a race normal price. This isn't childrens go karts...

 

Shoot I didn't get the deal, but I'm def still down to go and smoke Anh at the go kart tracks!

They only give you 1 kart til you puke.

The way you wrote the first post seems like they give you as many as you want for those two months.

 

Its not one Kart, but one 4 hour session of karting... Added the words, ONE to the post. Figured you could read the main sales page too. Im not affiliated with this deal...just trying to pass it along. You crapped on the last post too... Buy it or dont, but stop being such a debbie downer.

I did read the main sales page, that is where I saw what the deal was. I just commented because the way you wrote it seemed like they were offering kart till you puke for all two months.

And could you explain me how I "crapped on the last post"?? When I said that it was already closed?
