Please be careful when street racing
I just ran accross this link on another Forum..and it about had me in tears...I know we have been doing nothing but talkin about kickin each other *** out on the various streets where we live but after viewing the link below just remember that something like whats on that page could have just as easily happened as a result of a street race gone bad

But when you think about it...we are all family in the sense that we all love pushing our cars to the extreme...we may have a difference of opinion on which cars rule..but in the end we all love the same thing and I just felt the urge to share that link in hopes that we will all remember to be careful out there...so we can do our part to try and keep anything like this from happening from our actions..

Yeah, I have seen that before...VERY sad indeed....and to think it could have been prevented.
My cousin was run over by a drunk driver while crossing a street years ago. I hardly ever drink...and as much as I love my friends to death, if it came down to a physical confrontation to keep them from getting behind the wheel....so be it. I would rather have my friends alive and mad at me, then dead.
As far as street racing...the sad thing is...when the moment comes up and we are challenged on the street...how many of us are really going to think about this girl? Ya know...sad but true.
Very sobering though...
I think all new teen drivers should have to watch that

As horrible as that is after driving tractor trailer for the last 3 years I can tell Ive seen worse accidents that didnt even involve alcohol, drugs or street-racing. I can tell you the biggest killer seems to be absolute stupidity. I saw some moron in a Surbuban spill coffee on himself, swerve into a Tauros force it through the median into an oncoming CFI truck. Oh wasnt that pleasant, the young girl driving the Tauros survived the impact amazingly enough, but she did so by leaving both her legs from mid thigh down in the car. And to top it off the assf*ck that was driving the Surburban gets out screaming about an ambulance cause he burnt his d*ck with the coffee. They go on and on I can see why traffic accidents are the number one killer in the U.S. I really think there should be more testing and or evaluating before they give you that license to kill. 4 wheelers huh!!! BTW I dont know about you guys but Jesus I would rather a bullet in the head than try and live life like that, maybe Im just superficial or something but thats my opinion.

"Be Careful When Street Racing"? Sort of like "Be Careful When Playing Russian Roulette With Someone Else's Life." Our society is going down the toilet and it's reflected in the selfishness that is portrayed in the way people treat one another on the streets and highways of this country. Courtesy and consideration is dying pretty fast. I have spent a lot of time in third world countries where life is considered a pretty cheap commodity. And now that same market value of life is being sold here. To race on the streets is like saying to others that their lives are worth less than the pleasure that is gained by racing. And that, my fellow Z owners, is a pretty sad commentary on our society.
Take it to the track!!!!
If someone "challenges" you, ignore it and be a man. Sooner or later even the most immature have to grow up. I used to street race and drive too damn fast all the time, but even I grew up. (got old) Do yourself and everyone else a favor and have that kind of fun where its safer: at the TRACK.
Just a few months ago I witnessed a terrible steet racing crash in the northern burbs of Chicago. The crash was so bad that both cars involved were almost disintegrated before my eyes. I never found out if anyone died, but I sure wouldn't be surprised.
If a guy comes up to me at a light and revs, I IGNORE him. Usually, that's enough but even then sometimes the guy just CAN'T stand that I don't care and he cuts me off as soon as the light changes, slams on his brakes in front me and forces me to try and run him. You know what I do with ******** like that? I pretend he's not even there! If the jagoff STILL can't stand that I don't care, I call the police.
The streets are NOT a warzone to prove your bravery and skill. If you want competition and you want to prove yourself, go to the track! Its more fun anyway AND you get better bragging rights when you win.
