Yes that is me, I ran into Nate out there today. He was just observing, till next autoX in two weeks. Had six nice runs, faster every time.

I'm curious... what speed were you guys at when you started braking?? I made it to about 125. I'd think the Z should be good for a little more - maybe 130?

 

I hit 125 on the back straight... after that, you run out of braking room REAL fast...

 

134.6 is what I was getting.
We expect it to be a little higher if it doesnt rain on this Friday.
Brake pad compounds really make a huge difference, ecsp when it cold outside.
We had really bad intial ABS at the begining of the brake zone. We then switched to the 97 compound up front and it went away. PFC has a nice variance in brake compounds.

 

Somewhere between 115 and not quite 120, I think. I glanced at the speedo a couple times when the track was clear around me, but I was more concerned about having enough room left to brake!

After my speedo went past 120, I just closed my eyes.
