All LS1's put the same hp down to the ground, give or take 10-20rwhp to account for small year-to-year changes and manufacturing variation.

The 350hp rating came about in '01, when the LS1 inherited a better intake manifold from it's new LS6 sibling and got a new camshaft from the LQ4 6.0L truck engine.

I just read every post in this thread and the video is still only 67% done.

BTW this is a pretty good thread save for a few select people being complete tools.

Careful who you use the term Tool around.. one guy on this board goes apeshit and starts calling names. LOL I have to agree with you though.

Aye, it's a good informative thread excluding a few posts.

This is a Sincere question.

btw, you might want to be a little more kind in your responces I am NOT sure why we have Z28 owners over here wanting to pick a fight and throwing out "rice" terms, as you clearly see, some of use are just looking for answers, NO need to get so defensive.
Warranty and cost. It is easy to put a mod here mod there. Alot of people realize that when you take the step up in HP you have to compensate for it and go to the next level in mods to back up the power. Rear end and a roll cage if you run at the track much.
