Launch your car at around 2K on stock tires unless you wanna spin all day in the staging area.......Make sure your VDC is off...........deflate your rear tires to around 25psi.......drop the hammer at the third yellow.

If you do all this your reaction time and your 60' will decrease.

I launched at like 4k, seemed to spin a little then got out fairly well. didn't mess with the tire pressure though.

READ the post.....

or is that too much to ask.... sometimes things tend to escape the simplest of people......

MODIFIERS....denotes we Modified our CAR.. Anyone who reads this forum on a weekly basis knows who we are, and could not be as confused as you to think our car is STOCK with Nos ONLY.

Why do you post for the sake of posting with nothing to contribute. You do not even own a Z.

Your endless dribble offends me.

Sorry if this deviates from the original point of the thread, but i keep seeing different rpm numbers to launch at. I along with the person who started this thread are/will run there cars on stock tires. Bluefish says to launch at the 4500-5500 range and CarFanatic says to launch at 4K. WHEN i do go to the track, should i launch that high, even with stock tires? Sorry to kinda pirate this thread, but had to know. BTW, good numbers CarFanatic.

I have pulled a 2.047 60' with stock tires by launching around 2500.

When I launch at about 4000 I dont jsut drop the clutch. I feather it out a bit then let it go the rest of the way once I feel the tires start to spin. I launch at the same rpm in autox aswell. I guess the next time I go to the track, I will try different rpms to launch at. 4000 seemed to feel pretty good though.

I'm guessing that if you run slicks you'd want a higher launch RPM, which may explain where bluefish's numbers are coming from.
