Hey Jeremy,

My brother has his rev-up lower laying around since he changed it out for the 287 lower, he said you could have it.

how do you know they are "super aggressive"? Going merely by the manufacturer specs really tells you very little about the performance of the cam. There is alot more to a cam than just lift and duration

I have a set in a FWD VQ.. Haven't fired the engine off yet, but, it will have a GT42R hanging off of it and a sleeved/built bottom end.

don't know where my post went. But I was wondering what makes your engine make the 15:1 compression?

Is it the custom pistons or is it the heads?

Nothing on the market I have seen can allow for such high compression?

sometimes you have to create your own market...

combo of the pistons, flat valves and jus a small .010 taken off the heads and block...

think after bolt ons, more aggressive cams, and some extensive tuning you'll push over 350 rwhp? and why has no one tried Brian Crowers 4.1 liter stroker kit with higher compression pistons?

Trust me.. I know all about that.. We are the ones who started the whole VQ swapped Sentra deal.. and destroked QR25 engines that rev to almost 10K.

What type of fuel can you run the engine on? Is 100 octane unleaded optional?

The lift is, but the duration isn't. There are better n/a options out there IMO.

Because it is pretty expensive and still relatively unproven. Like previously mentioned no one knows if or how much power this motor will acheive in high compression NA form.

it will be interesting to see what that new collector does, given how flat the curve was up top to begin with

ok, off to the shop, i will be puttin on that lower collector, i thnk i might have some long tub headers coming here soon as well.

headers headers headers, it going to cost way way too much money to figure out what type, shape, collector???

adam, please pm me the specs on the tomeis that we talked about.

i want to retorque the heads here soon, so i will just swap out the cams at the same time.
