You know, it might actually be beneficial for your application to use a water/meth injection kit.

There can be several benefits.
1) The obvious, it will help supress the tendancy for ping.
2) You may find you can use a lower octane gas thus reducing the really high fuel costs.
3) It will keep the cylinders, pistons, heads and valves carbon free and very clean. The biggest benefit of cleanliness will be when you shoot the N2O. It would be a lot safer doing a 400 shot into clean cylinders.
It may just be the difference needed for relibility when using a 400 shot.
Hmmmm.... I wish I knew more about methanol. I do know it goes in cold, which would be a biiiig plus with that compression ratio.

thats really pretty clever.

here are a couple of the first pulls. this is still stock headers, stock lower runners, stock plenum, stock airbox and tube, mild cams and not tuned. i just did a couple pulls on the dyno to make sure the AFR was safe and took some timing out to be sure...

more to come soon!!!

remember, this is on a dynojet in FL at about 80 degree weather with about two hours of breaking in before hand, this is seriously just the beginning...

Notice how it pulls straight across from 6250 on, i have the rev limiter at 7500 for now...

Very nice. This thing has a lot more potential.

I'm betting you'll get a big gain out of some good headers... Getting the exhaust velocity up will really improve TQ across the powerband.

It'll be over 300 once it breaks in the rings.
Just drive it 1000 miles and your there.

thanks guys, i figured with my clearance of the pistons and the valves, the smaller conservative cams would be a good start...

i did a pull to 7800 today!!!! hehehe then i ran out of gas damn it

i will post up the graph later on, it pulls straight all the way till i let off the gas, i cant wait to fully tune it and get some nice headers on there.

i need a set of crawfords headers i think. anyone have any for sale.

thanks!!

And I disagree about the cams. If he's spinning to 8500, the best case scenario I think would be cams that are conservative on the intake side and agressive on the exhaust side. That would keep VE down and help keep that engine in one piece.

Just one nerds opinion, though.

How cold does nitrous come out, when you are heating it over 98* to get the correct pressure?

Wow, can't believe I missed this. Somebody get this man some Crawford headers and some good cams. Congrats Jeremy!! When you taking it to the track?

I'm thinking about going all NA on my HR motor...that would be a first and be very sweet. Maybe some Nitrous as well! I'm sure Performance Factory can help me with that!

A good set of cams shine with a good set of headers. With an X pipe exhaust, long tube headers, straight pipes and good cams Im sure you can easily hit 350whp (mid 11's on slicks at ur race weight!)
