50k included labor for the build and tuning and that is at a slight premium to get this parts list into Singapore from Japan and the US.

This started as just a block and heads change and kept going until there was nothing else to add to it as far as I'm concerned.

This is in a country where a 350Z costs $100k http://www.nissan.com.sg/lookfor/350z/350z_price.cfm and getting ripped off starts when you buy any new car.
Edit: just saw your profile. Good numbers.

^^^ a lot of that stuff isnt engine.

Your post read as the engine build was $50K... the list I pulled from your profile and listed above was all I could find that was engine related.

Absolutely. But I would not spend that sort of money on the engine and neglect the rest, and the rest is important if you want to get the most out of the car. I suppose anything outside of the block is not technically the engine then!

Obviously we spend additional money on the remainder of the car – suspension, driveline, etc… I’m just pointing out that your post stated your NA build was 50K – that seemed awfully high. Typically people don’t consider “NA Build” being things other than engine related.
Here’s the post I’m referencing.

there’s no point going on and on about it… the bottom line is your engine didn’t cost 50K to build and that’s a good thing.

I would assume that none of those prices include labor... I bet getting all of that done costs a pretty penny!

Edit> I just re-read and here is what he says about the 50K and the labor included part... "50k included labor for the build and tuning and that is at a slight premium to get this parts list into Singapore from Japan and the US."

nothing much to report, car has just been sitting. Hopefully I'll have time in the coming month to get back to it

I did send my Racepack to my stereo/interior guru to work his magic and come up with a nice clean pod

Yep you're right

Seriously though, we've been working on stuff, but I can't say when it will be finished yet. Still waiting on loose ends to be tied up. I've actually just been updating the work we have been doing for/ on the car on our blog
