Well I just spent the last 5+ hrs reading this thread (for the first time), once I started, I just couldnt stop This is inspirational work Adam (not just the results) but your perseverance when lesser men would have given up. Freakin awesome stuff man. I'm sure it is worth all the effort right? Looking forward to seeing the final dyno results with the current set up. Well done, thanks for the inspiration

It was all that was available at the time, and was more than enough according to the flow tests, etc my machinist did. He didn't see any point in going bigger with the setup I had, and all the modifications he did to the intake setup I was running was based around that spacer. Now I've replaced it altogether with the Cosworth though

Final dyno #'s are here with me from the tune, but I'll wait till its on a Dynojet to spill the beans. The car feels great though, and I'm just loving the fact that it's at my disposal, instead of me being at her disposal!

so I'm thinking about making a legit cold air intake box...insulated, larger volume, the whole 9 yards. I also need a larger intake pipe as even the 3 inch one is proving a bit small
anyone ever do anything like this before? Wondering if aluminum is the right choice, or perhaps a fiberglass box?

my only concern with either is how well they will do with under hood temps in the long term. That Supra is nice and all, but who knows how much use it actually gets. I'll pm you though on it, you would know better than I

Thanks for that! These projects are a pain in the ***, and each one I've done for the last 15 years has been more of a challenge than the last. But that's what makes it interesting and fun, so I guess I'm a glutton for punishment

A friend of mine just got a new 370Z with auto box, I'm impressed, the HKS guys say they have a good true dual exhaust and intake, it may do better than my car after that as it is already close from 0 to 100kph.
