Sigh! I hope you can get the asking price, what would you do with $10k anyway?

Why is everyone dumping their na builds!

Best of luck, sorry to see it go this way, if you change your mind, I am still willing to fly out there to finish it

Thanks.

BTW, that is not an asking price. It is a bargain price money wise as well as no wait for parts wise. I will not take a cent less.

Damn sorry to see it go down like this. I was anticipating torque numbers! I remember when you bought the crank. I was wishing I had the money for it.

Seeing as no one has responded to the FS thread and I don't have the truck to go pick it up I'll leave it there and we'll see if he actually starts the assembly. Theoretically he is calling today to tell me it is disassembled, checked and ready to go together. Not holding my breath.

I gave away my 97 240sx because the project was bigger than my wallet could afford. Sold all of my parts, and put that money into my 350z I bought shortly after deciding to get rid of my 240sx, it is a rough decision and it sucks a big D on the wallet, but sometimes, you just gotta cut your loses

It's not about the money for me. It is about the fact that this build has gone on so long it has become a monster on my mind.

I feel much better having posted it FS.

I am just going to see what happens.

I am very happy!

The mechanic that was "coming tomorrow" from shop 1 (not his fault, theirs) responded to a vm and is going to complete the assembly and do the install in my garage over 2-3 weekends.

Glad to hear everything is going to work out, hope he has all the tools he'll need at your place and that you won't run into anymore snags, GL.

I have a compressor, air ratchet & impact gun engine hoist and stand, most hand tools etc. I am pretty sure he has the tools we need and anything we need I am sure we can rent.

I am just happy to be moving forward.
