Or do a 150 shot and have 450hp and about 500 ft/lbs of torque

So did the s2000 have 280 or 380?

here is the pic of the oil squirter in one of the front cylinders. the piston doesnt come down any further than it is in the pic. kinda tough to see, what once you figure out what youre looking at, you will get the idea.

and here is my block, patiently waiting for the heads...

Good to hear that all your problems are resolved. Supercharger is a very natural next step for NA built blocks, you guys should see something interesting in this department very soon that would make this a very nice option. Keep up the good work and glad that you are enjoying hte car.

I'd be interested in a low boost SC that would be safe @ 11.0.1. (assuming there was more than 50 hp in it ):P

A vortech supercharger will easily put it over 400hp with bigger injectors and a fuel pump. It is safe to run a supercharger on 11:1 compression, I am not sure a 2.87 pulley is safe, but I am sure a 3.12 is

You probably already tried this but keep the clutch pedal down next time you start it. It might be clutch related like you said.

I think that if it's a valve train noise, it wont go away until you find out what it is and fix it. It's always going to make that noise until then.

the exhaust noise was a broken bracket i rigged up for my headers. lol
the rattle noise HAS to be in the intake sprocket(s) but i dont see it causing any damage as its only a oil psi leakdown deal inside the sprocket.
and if you can gain like 100whp by putting a vortech on a stock motor....id love to see what itd do on my motor.

Yeah, I'm treading the waters of SC now but it'll not be a vortech or hks. I was looking for something with better low/mid. It's too bad we can't get an Eaton TVS in there but I think what we'll see coming soon will be a good inbetween setup from the vortech and eaton. I'll let you guys know, but the power gains will be much more than just 50/50

Don't say a Stillen, please not a Stillen, and what is wrong with a Vortech? makes great power and people really haven't had problems with them, A supercharger in general will help us cammed guys fill the gap with the supercharger making up for lost power at the bottom and realllllly building it at the top, and a Tuner kit with 600cc injectors, a 255lph walbro and a good tune sounds soo tempting, and alittle over $5k if you do all the work yourself except tuning. I wish I had more money

Oh yeah, didn't think about the first two superchargers that came out for our cars, the procharger and stillen, but it's neither one. Nothing wrong with the vortech, i'm just not fond of the torque delivery on it, but the topend is very nice.

I want more torque. More HP comes with it but I don't care about more topend, the car already goes way faster (topend) than I need.

You are talking about some custom set up then, we have pretty much covered all of the bolt on kit super chargers then. You have a stroked motor right? And I hope big cams, because superchargers LIVE off that stuff! I wouldn't be surprised if you set it up right and were conservative you could make 450 RWHP. I personally feel that my car has more than enough suspension to handle a good chunk more power now and with a supercharger running most likely a 3.33 pulley I will make 400 RWHP easily and be able to run it all day!

I bet you are thinking about fabbing up a set up for an Eaton aren't you!

My G35 just because of aerodynamics most likely could do top end ALOT better, it had far less mods and it could take 6th gear to red line all day, I can't do that in my 350z, and really, after trying, it isn't worth pushing it that hard. I just wish I could push my 350z more and have more fun with it.
