haha, i promise the car isnt sold, if i want another one i will just buy another one as all of my cars are paid off, but i cant justify having 4 cars, so ill stay with three. working on the exhaust now, hoping to start it this weekend.
sorry for the cloudy pic, it gets like that with a flash. ill get a better one later when i can open the garage door after it warms up a little outside

giant air leak is the fresh air filter you have for your PCV system... if you are useing a MAF then it is allowing unmetered air to enter your engine... yes it is not going into the cumbustion chamber directly but the air is going down your oil drains to the pan then back up the B1 oil drain through your PCV valve and into your intake manifold creating a lean condition during cruising speeds, which could lead to an intermittent misfire... how do I know this? I have seen it at least 50 times... and as long as uhohzone keeps selling them, I will keep seeing it.

You're right, for some odd reason I was thinking the stock setup pulled air from an unmetered source, but it is metered. I'll put it back to stock. I plan to go with an electric pcv pump anyway so with that I shouldn't get any oily air going back into my intake. That's all I was trying to avoid anyway.

anyone know if there is some sort of saftey feature on my 06 g35 what will prevent it from turning over if some sensors are unplugged, or if maybe its in safe mode or something? my fob works to get in and turn things on, but it wont turn over. also, the buttons on the fob dont work, like the lock, unlock, and trunk buttons, but if i use the button on the door handle then it will unluck. i checked the battery and it shows 12v. its been sitting for a while with the batt disconnected though, about 2 months. was thinking about trying to jump it. i dont have the plen or intake on, just wanted to turn it over a few times to get oil pressure before i tighten down the spark plugs.

Not a NATS problem... the engine should be able to crank without the ECU plugged in... check battery voltage or the solenoid connector... plus I don't know why this is being done with the engine not fully assembled... electric PCV? Just use a catch can like everyone else and empty it every oil change shouldn't be alot of oil in there... or else your rings are having some blowby problems
