Default HR intake on the DE?

Not sure where to ask this, but I thought this maybe the best place to ask? I did a search, but couldn't find an precise answers on this. There is one or two threads on getting the intake setup off the VQ35HR to work on a VQ35de motor with nice results. I'm interested in knowing if the VQ37HR or possibly the VK38 intake setup to work with the VQ35de with even more power gains? Thanks.

Instead of all that work I think you are just better off buying a used or cheap intake for 100 bucks or less. Jwt's are pretty cheap lately, and will give your engine a louder growl than the hr intake. Btw, intakes provide very minimal gains, if any.

You can see some pics of a HR plenum on a DE motor. https://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/3740...an-03-a-5.html

Not sure if they are modded VQ35HR plenum or just based of them, but they are sold here. Kind of pricey if you ask me. http://www.speedforceracing.com/index.php?productID=849

Unrelated to HR entirely.
Came out well before HR manifold and its an entirely different concept. It's more like a kinetix ssv manifold x 2 banks.

Really? Could anyone say how these compare to the HR? If not would it be possible to just install the HR plenum and intake system?

What would one do to get the DE computer to work with the two AFM's the HR intake has? That seems to be the biggest problem.

Based on Sasha's testing, it seems that the problem with our intakes is too much vacuum pressure preventing enough air from getting into the cylinders at high rpms. I would think that the dual intake system would help aleviate this. If it was set up like a four barrel carb, with the secondary intake opening at the appropriate rpm, it seems like we could get the right velocity at all rpms. I gave up trying to get more power from my NA setup pending some engineer developing an intake/TB that solves this problem. If it wasn't for the MAF sensor issue, I would try it myself. A modified intake that runs a bigger throttle body might also work, but nobody sells those either. Someone here was making a limited production set, but they stopped.

Seems like we are all limited until someone steps up to the plate and designs something that works.
