I cannot wait to see if I can get 300whp.
In case you don't.... Water meth man. Or just pure meth. I'd be willing to bet that can bump your power up. And I could imagine a few ways to route it in the car that it could pass even the most bs inspections at the track

GTR injectors are installed and latency values changed in the tune. Car starts up and runs good. Going to install the new fuel pump today. Dyno next Saturday. I am getting really excited for this one.

I always kinda figured that the engine needed bigger fuel pump, and injectors for Uprev to tune for a bigger throttle body.

Glad to see it worked out. I just got my Aeromotive fuel pump in today so next will be the injectors.

Just get a vortech Ti tuner kit. Leave the engine as is. With the money you save, you can buy a backup block or a built engine even.

I want to stay NA. FI has never even been a thought. For a track only car, going FI will just add more headaches unless I spend a ton on a full build.

If I did a full build it would be NA. This motor basically has stock bottom end with cams, upgraded springs and RevUp oil pump. That's pretty much it for internals.

I will be going to the dyno today hoping to break the 300 mark.

Finally all done. It didn't make the power I wanted. It made 286, but then on other pulls consistently 277 and 278. From around 6400 to 7400 the power stays the same. I am losing a ton of power on top end. There is plenty of injector as they are only at 65% duty cycle, AFR is good in that range too. With the JWT C2 cams, they should be making power all the way to 7400-7500. The only thing I can think of is something with my intake setup is restricting. Maybe the TB is too far from the intake? Not sure.

I would like to see what it could do with the newer Kinetix Manifold. The Velocity or whatever it's called. That has a more direct flow to the intake manifold.

I don't have the dyno sheets yet, but I will post them when he sends them over.

For a non-rev DE, I feel ~280whp is pretty decent. Just wish it was more.

I think future plans will be to try another intake setup. I know there is a lot more power to be had here.

Here is a video from this weekend at the track. I finished 1st place both days. First time out with the big intake. It held up and the car definitely has more power. My top end speeds are almost 10 mph faster than last years.

I'm considering build my front splitter out of alumalite. How light is the alumalite compare to fiberglass, or carbon fiber splitter? $120 for an alumalite sheet is a good price. My local sign store wants $240 a sheet.

Lap times are 2.3 seconds than my previous best.

Alumalite is best material in my opinion for the money. I am sure Carbon is lighter, but splitters are practically a wear item. I wouldn't go carbon unless you got big bucks to replace them every few years. I have seen some guys go through 3 splitters a season because of offs and what not.

Last year's season went pretty well. Car held up all year. Going to take a season off racing to focus money on other things, but still plan on getting the car out once and on the dyno again.

Going a different route now. Just got the Kinetix Velocity. Going to try to fab something up to use 3.5" pipe to it and use the big 87mm TB. Hoping this will help out my loss of top end power. We will see.

Got it pretty much done. 3.5" elbow welded onto the end of the plenum. Made my own TB adapter and re-used the 87mm TB. Still going to use the 4" intake piping and MAF. I am still trying to figure out where how I am going to route the filter outside of the engine bay. This thing should flow a lot more on the top end and free up some power. Have a new clutch to install and redoing pcv stuff then will get it back on the dyno. Probably in June sometime.
