yes, for me at least, the longer the torque curve can be maintained in the upper rpms,, the better as it correlates with HP production. You will continue to make power past the stock redline even with stock cams with the Kinetix Velocity by sacrificing short peak whp with a flatter torque line, you have more power overtime. With cams and high compression more gains will be had.

If you want to keep it simple and go with a spacer and stay at the stock redline, this is fine. The Kinetix is not for everybody, and you will need to have other parts along with it to yeald better results along with a remapped tune to rev higher.

Hopefully, In jan i'll be able to hit the dyno and ill show the differences between my 288whp tune with stock manifold and 5/16 spacer and the kinetix.

You have 272 cams and 11.1cp , right? I'd rev all the way to 7400rpm with those, with the oem bottlenecked plenum you are just shooting yourself in the foot choking your motor of air on the topend.

i only have 264's at the time i wantes drop ins and 272's needed springs. I do rev to 7400 i double checked this morning.. The dyno sheets shows 6800 but thats due to smaller tires and reading dyno rpm not engine rpms.
