I just purchased for my wife a triple black 04 Roadster and I was pretty impressed with it. My brother has had at least three of them but I am and have always been a Corvette guy but I will say the Z is a really nice car and I'm looking forward to tweaking on it. I was most impressed by the handling right out of the box. We live in Mount Juliet, Tennessee which is a suburb of Nashville. I know all of the Corvette forums and which ones are best and was searching for a like forum for the Z. This appears to be it.

When I said "tweaked" I wasn't referring to anything major. The Z is definitely for her and is a nice cruiser (289hp and 3600#) and we plan on keeping it like that. I have more of a sport bike (C5 Z06 - 600hp and 3000#) when I feel the need for speed.

Don't get me wrong - I was in no way slamming the Z. I know they can be built just like the Vettes can. It's just that many times when you do that, the car becomes a harder to live with (in my case my car is loud and shakes like all get out with the big cam I put in it) so I don't see any reason we need two like that.

 

Very true. Plus the 350z is a great daily driver. I wish I had a Z06 as a toy car.
