Default new from Colorado

So yeah like every other nub I've been lurking the forums.. Reading up on bullsh*t and anticipating getting my Z. Well I got it yesterday. And it was such a perfect day to get it to. 70-75 degrees.. Very sunny. I get up this morning and well there's 4 inches of Colorado gold on top of my new 2008 San Marino Blue Enthusiast. Needless to say I'm spending the next few hours cleaning out my garage to warm her up in.

I sold my dream bike (yamaha R1) and a dodge Ram 1500 for this thing. I only got to drive it twice yesterday and it was great. Felt great, looked great and drove great.

As far as mods. Since it's so new I think I'll wait a few months before I spray paint the interior black (told ya I've been lurking!)

Oh and I'm 31, I guess I can't jump in the 17 year old z owner thread and say nanananananana...

I'll post some pics when the snow melts..

Definitely, I need to meet some more people here. Since I got out of the Navy and moved here from San Diego I've only met a few people I actually hang out with.

Back in San Diego I was a member of SoCal Riders and I miss that camaraderie.

Oh yeah I have a nub question. I'm trying to use a custom avatar but can only seem to be able to use the default Z pics.

Brrrrr. Your Z needs a garage. Welcome and congrats on the two-tone.

Custom Avatars become available when you join the Primier Membership club. It allows you to do that and you can access the "anything goes" threads of the forum. I suppose it also helps support the site which gives you an overabundance of info on your Z.

Yes I was joking about painting the interior..
I've been reading the thread where some dude did that.
I'm a sarcastic bastage.

I got my garage cleaned out and parked my baby inside.
Then I sat in it for a half hour or so(one hour) in complete awe.

Congrats on the purchase! Just wait until the roads get a little better and you can experience it fully.

Well I'd say gorgeous Z, but she's kinda buried under all the snow. So I'll say congratZ instead. Happy motoring, and Spring is on the way, so you'll be able to enjoy her.

Thank goodness I live in Houston...we don't have to work about the snow here : ) ... but in the summer we have to worry about 100+

You should come down to Pueblo, to Pueblo Motor Sports Park on 15/16 March to the NASA event there, and meet some of the VQ35 crowd that avidly tracks their VQ35's!

Welcome. I am down in Castle Rock. Congrats on buying your car in my favorite new Z color! Haven't seen one in person yet so looking forward to seeing yours at the next meet. Don't forget to check out www.MileHighZ.com as well.

NASA is the National Auto Sport Association (at least it is when you are talking about cars...)
