What's up everyone? This seems like the best community of Z owners from the few threads I've read so far. I just picked up a brand spankin new 2008 Enthusiast, and after one week I'm in love with the car. The only thing I don't like is the stupid mini-hatch in front of the dash in replacement for the navigation system. Anybody do something creative with this spot?

Anywhoo, I'm excited to join the forums and I look forward to learning everything there is to know about this beast.

Farenheit / Power Accoustik makes a 7" in-dash/headrest monitor that fits perfect in the slot.

Some people use it to house extra gauges or controllers with a fabbed up back plate.

Either of those will take up the void or you can use it for a pocket to keep your iPod/mp3 player if you wire it up with the cables.

Welcome. There are threads on all the believable and unbelievable things that compartment is used for. Usually people complain about lack of compartment space.

Welcome... nice car. Whats up with the headlamps in yer pic? Looks like halogens? It should come with Xenon/HID's. Or are those the DRL's? Freaking bright for some reason... Maybe you had your brights on?

 

They are the bi-xenon lamps. It must have been the camera.
