Default 350z oil

I just bought a new 2008 350Z with 7,xxx miles on it, I had one before and I used synthetic oil in it. Is it better do run synthetic or conventional oil with the new style engine and with the low mileage?
Any input will help!!

Thanks
Michael

cliffnotes. . .unless your a proffesional racer big buck synthetics are overkill. Either is good as long as you dont mix conventional and synthetic in the same engine.

Given your car is new, I would have thought that you'd be getting all of your servicing done at a dealer to maintain your warranty anyway.

Regular oil should be fine. Just make sure you change it as how the owner's manual indicated. Now for me, I use conventional since I like to change my oil every 2.5-3k miles. I know it can last longer, but still want to change it because I don't like/want thick dirty oil. As for Syn oil, I know they can last up to 15-20k miles. Call me paranoid, but I enjoy to do maintenance on my car.

Be sure to pick up a good oil filter as well.
