So how are you feeling about the project? Any hidden damage you didn't expect? Or all going to plan?

It hasnt been too bad so far. I wouldnt say anything has been unexpected so far. Its going in to the unibody shop tomorrow night, so thats a step in the right direction. Its gonna be quite a task putting this thing back together. Theres so many trim pieces and bracketry and sound deadening stuff its insane.

Not yet, its in the shop for its unibody work as we speak. the unibody guy is doing this on the side, so we arent expecting a quick turn around. I will take pics today though of what I have been doing lately on it!

Update!!!!!!!!!!!!! some parts got some fresh paint!
The story behind the color:
The rear clip that were putting on this Z is redline, so we could choose between the gray and red, so we went with red. we think the color match turned out very well, but its hard to tell exactly how well until the car is put back together. and fyi, the redline paint is EXPENSIVE! Enjoy the pics!

side skirts

we painted the trip piece in the trunk for some extra pizazz!

front bumper

fixing dings in the hood and prepping to paint

the not so fun part: labeling bags and keeping track of bolts/tabs etc.
