Yes, were shooting for pretty close to stock. The whole point of fixing up a salvage, for us, is to save money compared to buying used, but we will spruce it up here and there. The unibody guy STILL has the Z...but ill keep you guys informed
Pretty big update for all my dedicated subscribers!! Im back at college so Im away at Mizzou, but my pops went to the unibody guy's garage tonight to work on the Z and Im waiting to hear back from him on the progress. What's taking this project so long is the unibody work...its been a side job for a guy and he has had the z for 11ish weeks now. But, he is shooting to finish it by friday so we can then have it back in our possession. Then, we will have to paint a few parts, and reassemble the masses of parts that we stripped out. It will be exciting to see it in one piece (unibody-wise) though hopefully at the weekend. I can post a few pics of it in the frame shop pretty soon here. Thanks for the confident posts and genuine interest!!
Looks can be deceiving, this is actually good progress! Both halves have been cut and are just about ready to be slapped together. Should be in one piece tomorrow. Ill keep you informed!
Damn dude that thing is coming together nice. I really like the paint now that i see it as a whole. I thought it was going to be a lot brighter red, but i like the darker shade. Good job on the build and keep the pics coming. Still running what you thought it would cost wise?
