Greetings.
Hi everyone, I just got my first Z. It's a 2007 base with 18,000 miles. Here's a link to the only picture I have of it so far:

Sorry about the quality, I took the pic with my phone. I'm a little ashamed to admit that I don't know a lot about cars, other than how to change the oil, tires, and brakes. I'm looking forward to learning more, though. Also, this is my first car with a manual transmission. I'm still learning how to drive it. Kind of embarrassing to stall out at a traffic light. I guess everyone has to start somewhere though.

Congrats and welcome!! Practice makes perfect. Try an empty parking lot at night to get the first gear down to a science. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine!!
Thanks everyone. I don't know if it has had the CSC recall done. I guess a call to the dealer is in order. I took it out to a parking lot today, and made a lot of progress as far as starting goes. the next big challenge is starting on a hill. There is a traffic light by work that i have purposely been avoiding, because it is on a steep hill.
Welcome. There's a nice little trick I learned when driving in the steep hills/mountains of California. You can use your handbrake to hold to hold the car in place. Rev and engage your clutch. When you feel the car pulling against the brake, let it go. The car won't even roll back an inch. It just moves forward...
