First tip would be to use the search function, there are alot of threads about complaints and problems associated with some of our cars. Secondly, it kind of depends on what year you are looking to purchase (i.e., some years had major engine oil consumption issues). Third, confirm that any dealer recalls, if any, were taken care of.

Thanks for the tips, any more would be appretiated. And im looking at a 350z with under 40,000KM and i will be looking privatly first so I will meet the owners first hand and question them about it very well. Im going to try to get a bone stock one at first. Later on if the body gets rought I will throw a kit on it. I don't plan to mod it too much at first.

Have you guys had lots of fun with your cars? I sold my 5.0L mustang so I could start looking for a 350z.

Sorry wrong forum. This is where we say “Congratulations!” to new 350Z owners.

Did you get a 350Z or blow it off a go with the RSX?
