New owner, outside NOLA
Hey everyone!
New owner of a pretty maroon (to hell with the factory color names, it's maroon, lets just call a spade a spade and move on) 2003 350z. Just crossed the 100k mark prior to purchase (literally, it had 100003 miles when i went on the test drive). Very few modifications done to the car, just audio equipment which i may end up changing since 12" woofers don't perform well for high speed double-bass kicks in metal songs. Regardless of all of that, just wanted to say 'Hi' to everyone, I hope to be a fairly active member here, being a child of the internet generation of all. I am in my mid-20's and purchased the vehicle, mostly, because I was sick and tired of always making sensible decisions about everything and needed something to make me smile from time to time. Admittedly, I was unsure of the purchase when I handed over the cash for the car, but rest assured that once I took it out on some side roads with decent corners I never looked back. I plan on taking advantage of the new NOLA motorsports park down here for track days and look forward to seeing any local members down there.

Here's the only picture I have. I forgot to mention earlier that it is the performance model w/ 6sp transmission. Is also has post-factory installed heated white leather seats. Despite the mileage the car is in great shape. I had my choice between this and an 03 Enthusiast with 65k miles, but that one looked like it had been somewhat abused so I went this route. No complaints so far, outside of the suspension being too stiff to drive though my unpaved lot at work, but I just park it at the entrance now and walk in.
