I think this is a solid deal, opinions?
Ok, so I'm going to be very new to the 350z community, and I am extremely excited to join. Here are the details of the car I'm looking to purchase and I just wanted to get a second opinion on it.
It's an 04 Touring with 46k miles. Red, 6 speed, very clean, very minor paint chips in the front, and passed inspection and emmissions with flying colors. Price is $14,500. Pretty much bone stock except for an intake and sound system. I drove it and it runs great, felt no problems with the clutch or transmission, and then basically fell in love with it. Just wanted to see whether that was a good deal and whether or not I should just jump on it now.
Thanks!

I paid 14500 for my 04 base z, all stock with 48k miles on it a year ago. By inspection you mean a basic one, or have it gone over by a mechanic you trust? Just make sure the dumb little things that seem to go wrong with Zs are taken care of like the control arm bushings and AC unit. I don't know if it's a good deal or not though, probably depends on whats available in your area.

sounds good, its certainly not a bad deal...
last october i paid 16,999 for my 2005 with 36K so id take it..
like colin said, its kind of relative to the condition and prices of cars local to you.
is there an online listing? if so, post it and lets have a look.
either way, welcome to the family. its a great car.

I work at a dealership and we got it on a trade in for a Shelby GT500. It's been through the certified pre owned inspection, so it was full scale. The mechanic is a friend of mine and assured me it was a sound car. Just put new brakes on it as well. I think I'm going to go ahead and do it if the financing comes through. Thanks for the input

8 months ago I bought an 06 base with 46k miles (stock also) for $14,600 in North Carolina.
Personally, I would imagine you should be able to get yourself a better deal- but if you like the car, the price fits and you are happy with everything, go for it...

KBB. Check what they're going for in your area. The miles are awesome. I'm not goofing. Those miles are awesome. I'd buy it again. This has been one of my favorite cars and it's been really good to me.
