Just what my carfax said. It has the tan/black leather but the wheels are just touring. Honestly I have no idea. Im new to tuners/sports cars/Z33s so please forgive my ignorance lol but I do know what the search button does. This was my last vehicle. 2004 chevy colorado Z71 4wd Got it for a graduation present bone stock and made it mine

Not saying you're incorrect but given the picture, the stack was against you. 35th Anniversarys did not come in red, did not have 6-spoke Touring wheels and have Brembos (which I could not see in the picture). Also, 350Z VIN numbers do not show what edition they are but I'm unfamiliar with 35th and Nismo model VINS. Since you have black/tan leather seats and your VIN states you have a 35th, than means your car was either black or silver from the factory as yellow did not come equipped with the black/tan option.

Hmmm interesting. ...... because the doorjams, underhood, Carpet is red but this car looks like it had a respray. 9/10 says the report was wrong on it being a 35th anniversary. Either way I love this car. Im torn between what wheels to put on it. Black/polished lip or gold/polished lip

Thanks, its vinyl done by the previous owner. Ive never seen another like it. My motto has always been YOLO...........jk guys, its always been "Dare to be different." Thats why I bought a Z over an RX8/Honda anything/or 240. Not knocking em their all good cars. Just see too many of em imo lol. And no my car will not be some hellaflucked monstrosity that. Main thing i cant decide on is rims.

Welcome to the forum and happy Zedding.
As Advan says, the 35th Anniversary came with the 5 spoked sort of curved spoked rim, only came in a particular tone of silver, magnetic black and Ultra Yellow. Perhaps when it was registered they assumed that because it was built in 2005 that it's a 35th, which doesn't necessary follow. They generally have the numbered plaque between the seats on the console too.
Red carpet will be an after market thing, as all 350's came with the charcoal coloured carpet.
If it is a 35th, someone would be mad in my opinion to respray a 35th. If you have a good look underneath all the bits of plastic and around the engine bay, door jams (as you comment), quickly pop out the rear lights, and have a look around there too for sign of respray.
Ultimately it doesn't matter if you love the car already, only if you want to see it further down the track. Anniversary models are always a bit special.

Thanks for all the nice responses. Lol I meant under the carpet its the same shade of red. Was it possible to get the greyish/tan and black interior on a touring? And a small update on my paint nightmare... I decided to hit it with a buffer and a quick coat of wax on a small spot akd it oooks like it just might bounce back. And im missing the underhatch/spare tire carpet peices. Where would be a good place to get those?

Im Not for sure but I think mines got the DE. I have an AEM cold air intake and an apexI N1 exhaust. I hate the exaust because my car had the duals but it just has a big single coffee can lookin thing thats all cockeyed and funny lookin imo lol. Im prolly going to y pipe it and put some new tips/quieter mufflers. I like the sound hate the look

Model years from 2003-2006 had VQ35DE.
In 2005 35th they got the revup which is still a VQ35DE but with exhaust cam timing
In 2006 most, if not all got the rev-up. I believe there was a combination that did not get rev-up but i cannot remember since that was 7 years ago.
The way to tell is looking at the front timing cover. IF you ever go with a front mounted supercharger you would need to know this since the mounting brackets are different.
Also rev-ups have oil consumption issues. Id rather not have a 35th anniv unless you rebuild the motor.
