So, I jumped into a different thread before realizing this area existed but I thought I'd take the time to properly introduce myself and my car to the forums instead. I bought her a month ago from a friend at work. He modded it and used it as a show car before losing interest and parking it for 2-3 years. When he mentioned that he was looking to sell, I jumped at the opportunity. Just under 82k on the clock, and it's an 03 Touring (I think?). I've been doing what I can to get everything back to 100% and it should be out of the body shop come this Wednesday, just in time for the weather to get nice. Very excited to be the new owner! I've never had a car this fun before. Here's a pic of what she looked like after her first good scrubbing and two painstaking hours of peeling off old vinyl:

 

Now all you've got left to peel off is that wing, the hood, and those wheels.

 

Nah, the hood is being painted to match the car and the orange mesh is gone. The wing looks great and the wheels are going black/chrome. One thing at a time.

I can respect that. You should've seen it before I took the vinyl off . But yeah, I'm not too different. Once the colors are simplified, I think it'll all come together real nice. Appreciate it though, thanks for the welcome.

 

Looks good and welcome. Only thing I would change is the wings. But it's your car and I'm sure it's in good hands.
