Default New guy here!

Greetings from sunny Florida!

I just recently purchased my 2004 350z (by recently I mean yesterday )

I got rid of my Chrysler 300 Touring Edition for this, I've always had a love for sports cars (mainly american muscle) but the 350z have always been on my "want" list. I was finally able to make that come true yesterday.

Being a fairly tall individual (6' 4") after weeks of searching 350z's I found out I would not fit in a 6speed (legs too damn long) so I caved in and got an automatic. As I have only owned the car for a little over a day, I have found to love this car more than my 2004 GTO I used to own. Its just as fun if not more.

Welcome. Beautiful ZR, although it's hard to imagine your leg length being a factor in deciding between a MT and AT.

Welcome and congrats on the Z. I'm 6'3" and have absolutely no problem driving the manual transmission.

Welcome.
I've never heard of someone having a difficult time driving a z w/ a MT vs. an AT, I have heard that people >6'0ft have a harder time driving the roadster because of less room behind the seats?

I test drove a few MT and every time my knee would hit the dash... I guess I'm all leg? lol

My lanky dad at 6'6" fit in my Z and drove it with little or no discomfort. His main issue was the last MT vehicle didn't have as close gears as the Z does. 1st....2nd.... 5th. bahahaha. Not much power in 5th when you're expecting 3rd...

Anyway, congrats on the Z and good luck keeping that black clean in Florida. My mom says it "rains" there every day. It would drive me crazy. But, at least it's not locked up in the garage for 3-5 months sad face to winter

Welcome to the board! any plans for mods?
