Default New Owner of a 07 HR

Hi all,

Being a new owner, I figured I should make a new member post. Recently purchased a 2007 350Z, manual, freshly imported from Japan to NZ. I was lucky enough to know the previous owner in Japan, figuring more out about the car before buying it. He would have kept it had he not had a child, such is the way

I have just attached some dealer pics, it's bit dirty ATM

It's had a fair bit of work done all around, and what I'd call "tasteful" body work mods. Very pleased with it so far, a few small things need sorting out but I'm looking forward to it all.

Apart from all the mods already done, in future I'll be adding a few to that list.
A Quaife diff, nismo diff cover, new clutch, maybe a flywheel. And better fitting tyres when the current ones wear out haha

I think this site and 350tech should keep me well covered in terms of help, cheers guys

Wow, that thing is clean! And while I'm not a big fan of ducktails on Z33s, that moulded in treatment is sweet!

Welcome!

Cheers guys, very lucky to find a well looked after and well modded one.
First stop is a fluid change and service. Then figuring out how I want to go about the diff and clutch work.

I like the nostrils up front. Nice clean Z. I know they aren't cheap in Australia. You probably did right importing it from Japan.

Cheers mate, yeah I will tidy up the stone chips up front at some point, and also sort the interior paint.

They have come down a fair bit in price here, but not a massive amount. It's still a good chunk of vehicle for the price though.
I got a great deal on it though, and with all the mods and the fact I was able to talk with the owner in Japan, that made it much better.

Looks good. Are those 19" or 20" wheels?

Those are 19's. 10 inch wide front, 11 rear.
The dish and the way they make them actually makes them look smaller initially...to me at least haha.
The tyres are too stretched, which I hate. I'm sorting that now so it might look a bit more normal.
