Default Yellow Z

So I stumbled Into being a Z owner/lover. And it’s an awesome car. I think what I’ve decided to do is twin turbo super charge it. And I wanted your guys info on what’s the best route to do this. And Will this be too much power for a 17-year-old. OK I’m just kidding.
while I am new to the Z world, I am not 17. Not planning to twin turbo supercharge my 350. One turbo is plenty before the supercharger. Kidding again. Although mixing the best of both worlds would be amazing.
I am 38 with what I would consider to be a pretty broad knowledge of under hood workings. My first car was a 73 pinto with a built 5 liter. (Dad and I built it). But even more importantly. I know what I don’t know. So when I found my car I was just searching for something sporty quick not super new just an affordable older sports car. And I found this yellow 350 Z. I had never tested the Nissan waters before this. And From what I understand you guys are already aware of the year just from that information alone?! So, correct me if I’m wrong but I heard that the yellow ones only came in 05?! It’s an automatic it had 46,000 miles on it when I bought it from California and it resides with me here in Washington state.
Long story short my dad passed away and left me some money to do a project build He was a heavy diesel mech. It was meant to learn how to enjoy the present as he ALWAYS worked for tomorrow and never made it to retirement. So I have just shy of 15k to play with. The car is already paid off. A 9/10 outside. And an 8/10 inside. Just showing a little wear on the leather. Main drivers side. Not an eyesore yet. I’ve been doing some research for about a month now. Reading boards and what not.
And what I think I’d like to do is maybe SOME body work. I’ve seen a lot of awesome body kits. But this is left for last as the car is already beautiful. I wouldn’t mind SOME suspension upgrades. Mainly best bang for my buck. As I enjoy straightline power the most.
im open to suggestions but I’m leaning towards supercharger for FI. Please most input here. I like reliability. And again from what I read. We can get up to 10/12 lbs without working on internals. A big question for me. Is best kit?! Be it supercharger or turbo. Like I said. Still open. And lastly. a tuner kit or no?! Piggy back or stand alone. I am not super knowledgeable in this area. But it seems aem is pretty user friendly. But this is an automatic car. Should or can I use the stock TCM. Is there a stand-alone with it. I couldn’t find one. And or is the stock one reflashable. Is the only option for stiffening the shifts up a new valve body? Basically. I’d love to hear what all of you guys individually would do in my situation.
it is my second rig. But would prefer do do this all at once. The majority of the wrk will be done by me. I have a couple mech. In the family. As well as a fabrication company. And a few very knowledgeable friends.

Welcome and I'd start with doing a full assessment of your pearl yellow Z. You don't mention what kind of maintenance records you got with the car, but if they are incomplete or inaccessible, change all the fluids in the car (engine, tranny, diff, and brake) with quality products. Be sure to collect some used oil for a UOA and send it off the Blackstone to get a clue on your VQ's condition before FI.
