going 80 mph on a SHARP curve after the rain?
Make sure you're driving alone and there's no one on the road.

i know i didn't buy my car and there is no possible way i would be able to afford it without my parents help almost every dime i make goes right into my car. so for my income im putting in as much as possible, so im very appreciative and respectful to the power the Z has. im not out pulling stupid crap like this
moment of silence for the nismo.........
OP please stop blaming the tires and "oil spots," and your story doesnt add up, let's put it like a math equation:
Z at 20 mph + while going straight + oil spot = losing traction and hitting another vehicle
Now that doesn't add up, something is wrong or missing.

1st accident about a month ago
At stoplight going streight back end swings out, i manage to get it out of traffics way and i hit the sidewalk destroying both the rimm's and the control arm. Cause as far as i can figure hydroplaned since i was going 20 in the 40mph zone.
2nd accudent today at 10:45 am
Came out of a roundabout and going 30 in the 45mph zone streight line again, next thing you know my car is in parts and im getting out to make sure the person in the SUV is fine, they have only a scratch on their nose. Cause again as far as i figure slipped on the oil spot after fresh rain.
Is this just my luck? Do the factory tires really suck that much? And why dont i ever feel the TCS kick inn when this happens?
opned for discussion and critisizm... i feel ashamed for being put in a situation to ruin a limited edition car so plz not too much *******.

good thing it was an suv you hit, and not some kids waiting for the school bus.
where the hell was it raining in Indiana yesterday anyways?
don't drive high on your own supply.
Hey Alex,
I am sorry to hear about your loss and glad you are ok. I'm from Indy as well. What roundabout were you at in Carmel? I grew up around that area and my parents live around there now. I know the weather was not nice yesterday to us.

P.S. i have been driving since the age of 9, starting with farm equipment and ending in BMW's before owning a 350z nismo and this is my first 2 accidents i have ever had.
The first lesson in high speed or performance driving is that turning the vehicle and accelerating (neg or pos) at the same time, should be avoided whenever possible.
I thought I was a great driver at 19, too. I was wrong. You are, too.
Limited Edition Nismo 350Z count: 1497 (?)

You are ONLY 19 and you own a Nismo? Dude, what IS that about? What you need to do is get a bicycle and start over.
Personally I don't care what anyone says. No one that young should be owning OR driving a sports car.
Your next newspaper appearance may be in the obituary section or worse.....someone else's!!
Take some driving lessons!

Here's my theory: You worked so much to save that money for a car that your learning skills went south. You claim that you've been driving since the age of 9. To me, that just says you learned some bad habits from an early age. If you drove on a farm, then you didn't have much to worry about when it came to avoiding obstacles such as curbs and cars. I've been driving for 22 years, but that doesn't mean I'm a great driver. I'm just more aware of my surroundings and learned how to adjust to the traffic and weather conditions.
So I resent the fact that someone as 'young' as you thinks most of us are spoiled. I work my *** off now to buy some simple luxuries like a Z33. My parents didn't help me, nor did I sleep in their home when I bought my Z. I suppose when you're not paying a mortgage and supporting a family, you can afford to by that Nismo and drive it like you do.

Oh, that is why every one of his 5 vehicles are junk!! Or he is rebuilding, fixing, whatever.....something on them. He still lives at home, no mortgage, no family......only his one car payment and insurance.
I feel so sorry for these kids........NOT!!
More proof that 19 year olds know everything and most of them are "responsible" drivers who can be trusted with a high powered sports car
I'm surprised there aren't more teens coming out of the woodwork to defend themselves on behalf of all teens:
"well I don't know about other teenagers but **I** am a very responsible driver and **I** get good grades so that makes me more responsible and mom and dad think I'm responsible so, therefore, I am a responsible 19 year old and should be allowed to drive a 350z, Q.E.D."

The tires are not that good, but glad you didn't kill anyone. IT is you that is the problem and not the car.
