Just bought Nismo z but I feel like dealer tricked me on pricing
I just got to read this thread, I was at that same dealer checking out that red nismo along side a black one they have. I also was stalking the car a little bit when I thought I was going to get hired, but then, they had both the cars listed between 30 and 31k till recently they hopped up the prices. Sorry to hear you got that kind of deal, but I sympethize with you because I have done that myself twice out of the 4 cars I have owned. Honestly the best experience I had buying a car, surprisingly was on ebay, and even a motorcycle as well.
I cant wait to get my hands on a NISMO, though.

im selling the base z i have now because autobarn nissan made me buy it in order to return the nismo. at least it will be easier to sell a brand new base z rather than a nismo because of the price difference. they put the nismo back on the lot and now they are asking a tad under 38k. its funny how they raise the price after i returned it.
That price of the Nismo that you just spent is how much it goes here at GUAM USA (small island that is located middle of philippine and pacific ocean). Shipping and everything totals up to 37,000 to 39,000. Damn you seriously got ripped off.. But take it as a lesson..

sorry about this but ur stupid buy a car is a big step and decision. It takes time and research you can not rush this if its meant to be that you will get a Z then it will happen. I took about 2 months research trying to buy my Z went to many different dealerships and finally got mine an 03 white Z with 22,000 miles and great price monthly and for the future. I know the nismo looks good and it just wants to make you wanna take right then and there but paper work is a must read well good luck on retuening it an next time take ur time there is plenty of nismos and Zs out there for everyone.
I sold the z I got stuck with on ebay. It sold for 23717. I bought it for 25 befor TTL. All in all I lost a around 4-5 grand. A pricey lesson learned but once I get this taken care of I'm just gonna look into a used nismo to make up for the loss I already took.
if you took a 5k hit you should have just kept the nismo....
true, i feel dumb as it is but i just hated the dealer so much i wanted to get out of it. now i have a fresh start and i will look for a used nismo. since the 370 nismo is coming out i think i could find out for a good price to make up for my loss. this time i will post on here before i buy to get some feedback and i will bring someone who will help me buy smart.
thanks for all the input guys. glad to be out of this mess finally. the guy who bought my z is picking it up thursday.

You lost your money but as long as you live, you can recover and forget about it. But don't dump a Z on your Mom out of frustration because she might not be able to handle it. Losing your mom is something you can never forget
Lessons learned from first car buying experience (A dodge neon back in highschool
).
1. Get financing from credit union @ 5.9%
2. Set a spending limit
3. Find the right Z (05 Daytona Blue Touring w/frost interior)
4. Run a carFax or have a mechanic inspect the car.
5. Haggle the price as much as possible.
6. Don't agree to anything that the dealer wants to offer you. Bastards wanted to charge me $500 for stop-gap insurance when my credit union would charge me $250.
7. Walkout of dealership with a smile on your face and the keys to your new Z.

My Credit Union will qualify you, and then put you in touch with dealerships that are willing to make a deal for the car you want - on the amount you qualified for. If they won't - you don't even talk to them - they are off the list.
