really interested guys, thanks and please keep me updated! Just curious I understand that it can have multiple maps which would be nice for nitrous, I am just curious as to the advantages of this over something like a maximizer or similar nitrous-only controller

It might, after all it have 3 solenoid outputs. Thanks

I could be reading the website wrong though, perhaps the output doesn't actually change timing and you need some secondary unit? I dunno

The Maximizer does have the outputs to send to a seperate unit to pull timing. It also allows you to hook up a FJO AFR kit which will kill the nitrous if your AF goes above a preset AF ratio.
I as well am interested on how much of a benifit the Utec would be. I am currently in the process of switching to a higher compression setup and feel that some good tuning is going to be key to survival, forged or not forged

I will continue to use 93 pump fuel when on the motor alone in addition to colder plugs. I am currently running two-step colder iridiums on my stock compression and think that that may be good enough for the 11 to 1 pistons I am installing.
We begin tearing her down as soon as my pistons rods and cams get in next week. I`ll keep you posted, but you can count on the fact that this setup is going to yield more power with less of a shot.

Awesome, I cant wait to hear about it! Take lots of pics too!
As for the shot size, are you actually considering goin down? Or just for street applications, and go with the larger shot (ie 200+) on the strip with race fuel?

I am VERY interested in this. If it can control nitrous, then that's 500 bucks I can throw towards a UTEC!

Spare Solenoid Drivers- Allow you to activate devices in a 3D map like Water Injection, Nitrous, Water Sprayer etc.
Taken from their website..

yeah, but can it handle progressive shots? TPS and RPM window switches? If so it could replace a traditional controller, saving us some dough since we would no longer need a controler and a piggyback

From what I understand of the utec, it can work like most other progressive systems. I will know more when mine finally arrives (gets into Intense on Tuesday, to turn around and ship it out to me).

I think it just turns on or off a spare selenoid for the N20, not really progressive..Ill check with Jermaine on Monday..
