Nice times! I'd like to see what you trap on a clean run. Dammit you're making me want a nitrous setup!!

thanks guys, it will be much safer now cause the utec will control on and off at certain rpm and only on under 100% TPS

much much safer, i also have figured out that i was starting with 950 psi on my bottle, by the time i get to third gear it falls to almost 800

hence my slow trap speed, my next run i am going to heat it up to 1050 to start that way it might fall down to 900 at worst

i will be getting two bottles if i keep my nitrous setup much longer and do a two stage shot

wow thats awesome. but why do you lose so much pressure during your run? How big of a bottle do you currently have?

one 10 pound bottle, i can actually just watch the gauge fall as i hold down the button, kinda sucks so i will have to try raising up the pressure like i was told by a very knowledgable nitrous mustang guy, he told me to start with it high around 1050 or so, its just hard to get it that high when its chilly outside

Bottle warmer!!!!

Automatically raises the temp to 1050.

I have a dual 10lbs bottle w/ dual warmers and dual remote openers set-up. Dont think I even had a long highway run that dropped me down to low.

For the track a single bottle will cut it.

But for the HIGHWAY the porschitez need more then a run or two to realized they just lost.

Hey bro, how do you have your pressure guage set up? I want to run my pressure guage to the A-piller pod. Is it possible? I have been trying to decide what guage I want and best to use. 2 bottle setup atm. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You need to double check what is going on with that bottle pressure. I know I don't drop any more than 50 PSI on a full 1/4 run.

I suspect this will square your trap speed away! I used to trap between 112 and 113 with a 100 shot. Even hit a couple of 114's. All that's about to change though

you can absolutely run a guage to ur a-pillar rather then on the bottle. they have adapters to do so. autometer sells nitrous guages, and i believe the have the adapter for the bottle too.

yeah i have trapped 110-112 with this same setup, i shifted early on that run into fifth which i shouldnt have. my friend that is a full mustang only nitrous guy says that this is normal with only a 10 pound bottle with a single stage shot. so i will try to warm it up more next time and see. i am very happy with my setup just need to work out a few little things

as far as my gauge, i have an autometer electric nitrous gauge that i mounted where the stock navi goes, autometer actually sells a holder for TWO 2 5/8s gauges, they are the bigger ones, it fits in the stock navi place that you dont even have to use anything to hold it if you didnt want to, i just have my nitrous and my vacuum for now, plus the shop didnt have an electric fuel pressure in that size/style, i just needed to put something next to it and i figure vacuum/ boost will remind me of my soon to be turbo kit, here i will attach a picture...

Having extra line running for your gauge inside the cockpit could be why you looks so much pressure during your runs. More line makes your pressure drop quicker. Just FYI.

If your referring to his pressure guage. All pressure guages i know of dont have extra nitrous lines running into the cockpit.... Mine is electrical wires.

It was definately spinning. The low mph was because he kept having to get on and off the kit to stop it from going into the wall.
